"We have, over the past several years, been rebuilding my fences a little at a time.
I'm not sure how many fence projects you have done for me but it has to be at least
four or five. The most interesting aspect of this is that regardless of how outrageous
my fencing requests have been, you and your crews have always been willing to do
whatever it took to make me happy.
I've always thought that fencing should be functional
as well as attractive. After all it does put the picture frame on a ranch. Your guys
have spent weeks reworking wood fencing, building new barb wire cross fencing and
I couldn't guess at how many cedar stays you've put on this place. Even though we
still have several projects left, my ranch looks 100% better than the day I bought
it 13 years ago. And a lot of the credit should go to you.
My new working pens are
a work of art. I wrestled with the layout for months. Longhorns present some special
challenges. The working area needs to be wide enough to get their horns through but
narrow enough to keep them in place when we work them. Your expertise and advise
brought it all together. It works like a charm.
Maybe the best part of our working
relationship is that I have always felt like I'm working with a friend and not just
a fence contractor. So even though my wife doesn't necessarily look forward to our
next project, I do.
